AGM finally takes place a week late following lack of Power following tree fall.
President Max Ward congratulates the club on a successful season with 2 of our sides gaining a promotion, a 3rd claiming a share of a Championship, and the Ladies side enjoying an excellent first season. He welcomed the merger with Hockley Heath and now called on the club to press forward to claim a Birmingham League Premier Division place.

In his last AGM as Chairman under the "old committee structure" Keith Wing summed up the season in novel fashion:-
D   Disappointment that the Sat 2nds were relegated.
O   Outstanding performances of the Sat 1sts & 3rds in winning promotion; the Sun 1sts in winning the League.
R   Recognition of John White's work with the Warwickshire youth sides,  the Development Initiative award gain by our Ladies side,
the work of Groundsman Ian Maddocks resulting in high Pitch Performance marks.
R   Restructuring of the DCC committee.
Initiative shown by the club in inviting and arranging a very successful game v LASHINGS WORLD XI
D   Development of our Youth Cricket programme under Malcolm Ord's guidance.
G   Grove Lane, Hockley Heath CC's ground, now part of the Dorridge family following the merger.
E   Expressing thanks to all, for their help, over the last 7 years.

The meeting then endorsed the following nominations:

President: Martin Ward
Chairman of Cricket : Tim Burchell
Chairman of Management and Finance : Keith Wing
Secretary: Andy Delaney
Treasurer : John Edgecombe   (thanks being expressed to Jakie Collett work her over the last couple of years)
